Study claims most parents ignore game ratings

— 2:39 AM on June 24, 2005

BBC News is reporting that most parents don't seem to mind their children playing video games rated for adults. Most parents apparently think their children are mature enough to handle games intended for older audiences. Interestingly, parents are more concerned with the amount of time their children spend playing video games than the content of those games. It's enough to make one wonder whether parents really know what's going on in today's mature-rated games.
