Apple briefly offers Mac mini test drive program

Apple appears to have briefly offered a "test drive" program that would have allowed Mac mini buyers to return the system for a full refund after 30 days.

“We’re so confident you’ll love your new Mac mini, we’ll let you test drive it for 30 days with no risk. If you decide you don’t want it, we’ll take it back,” said Apple.
The test drive program was supposed to expire October 31, but Apple appears to have taken the offer back early. All mention of the program has disappeared from Apple's web site, and links are being redirected to Apple's online store. Interestingly, C|Net is speculating that the test drive promotion may have been an attempt to reinvigorate slumping Mac mini sales.
