Epox releases Socket 754 SLI motherboard

Epox has launched the first nForce4 SLI motherboard for Socket 754. The EP-8NPASLI features all the goodies you'd expect from an nForce4 SLI board, including Gigabit Ethernet, four Serial ATA ports, and pairs of PCI, PCI Express x1, and PCI Express x16 slots. It even has a handy two-digit POST code display. Socket 754 does limit the EP-8NPASLI's CPU upgrade path, but it could be an intriguing option if the board supports AMD's 754-pin Turion 64 processors. Not that Turion and SLI necessarily go together. Still, it would be nice to see a Turion 64-compatible desktop board with all the features of the nForce4 SLI chipset. And that second x16 slot can always come in handy to drive additional displays.
