AMD is slashing processor prices, with the mobile Turion line receiving the biggest discounts. Turion 64 MT-40 and ML-40 prices have been cut by 25% and 26%, respectively, with the rest of the Turion line seeing 16% and 6% price cuts. Athlon 64 X2 prices have also been reduced slightly, with the 4200+ dropping in price by a healthy 15%.
On the budget side, AMD has reduced the price of some of its Sempron processors. Socket A and Socket 754 Semprons have also been removed from AMD's price list.
