HKEPC Hardware has an interesting first look on a Gigabyte GA-G1975X motherboard based on Intel's upcoming 975X chipset. According to roadmaps in the article, the 975X will launch in the first quarter of next year, support up to a 1066MHz front-side bus and 8GB of memory, and be paired with an ICH7-class south bridge. The article also shows off the GA-G1975X's "Turbojet" cooling solution, which uses a pair of ducted fans to exhaust warm air from around the north bridge and VRM heatsinks.
