Intel Presler has stability problems?

— 11:09 AM on November 15, 2005

Those sneaky sources at the motherboard makers have yet again given DigiTimes the dirt on problems with a new product, this time claiming that Intel's new 65nm Presler dual-core processors aren't stable at 2.8 and 3.0GHz. As a result, the report says, Presler's launch might not go off as planned in January. Notably, though, Intel's Yonah 65nm dual-core Pentium M-derived processors look to be working fine, and should arrive in on schedule in early '06.
