Video game deployed to reduce childhood obesity

Dance Dance Revolution never ceases to amaze me. The console sensation will soon make its way into 157 West Virginia middle schools as a part of a program to boost physical activity among students. It's hoped that the game, which requires that players perform intricate dance combos on a touch-sensitive mat, will help reduce childhood obesity. If all goes well, the program could be put into place in an additional 753 public schools over the next three years.
