Gigabyte shows Yonah Micro ATX board
It looks like Gigabyte is ready to jump on the Core Duo Micro ATX bandwagon. Akiba has shots (in Japanese, bring a translator) of the GA-8I945GTMF-Y-RH, a Yonah-based Micro ATX board that uses Intel's 945G chipset. The board is equipped with PCI Express x1 and x16 slots, a pair of PCI slots, 8-channel High Definition Audio, Firewire, and best of all, passive chipset cooling and a standard Socket 478 heat sink mounting bracket. There's no word on when the board will be available or how much it might cost, but it looks like a tantalizing option for anyone looking to bring Yonah to their desktop or living room.
