Matrox announces Epica

— 12:12 PM on March 8, 2006

Matrox has announced an Epica software and hardware package designed to bring the company's multi-display technologies to thin client systems. The hardware will support up to four monitors in a passively-cooled, low-power package, while the software will reside on the server and provide compatibility with "leading remote desktop technologies." Final products are expected to ship in the second quarter of this year, although no pricing has been announced at this time. More details are available on Matrox's Epica website.
