Logitech introduces left-handed MX610

— 2:27 AM on March 10, 2006

Claiming "the end of discrimination against the left hand," Logitech has announced a left-handed version of its MX610 mouse. The mouse is basically a mirrored copy of the existing MX610, with the same laser tracking system and 2.4GHz Bluetooth-like interface. Logitech says the lefty MX610 will retail for $59.99—the same price as the right-handed MX610—and that shipping will commence in April. This is good news for lefties, who make up over 10% of the population, but have to deal with high-end mice that are largely designed for right-handers.
