OCZ shows 1.1GHz DDR2 at CeBit

Following its official unveiling of low-latency DDR2-1000 modules, OCZ is now displaying DDR2-1100 modules at CeBit. The PC2-8800 Platinum Extreme Edition modules are rated for 5-6-6 timings at 1100MHz, and will be available in 512MB and 1024MB capacities. This puts OCZ a whole 33MHz faster than Corsair's claimed "world's fastest" DDR2-1066 TWIN2X1024-8500 kits, which run at only 1066MHz. This DDR2 one-upmanship won't really have much of an impact on enthusiasts until AMD moves its processors over to Socket AM2 this summer, though.
