Gigabyte to introduce fanless 7600 GT

PC Watch (in Japanese, translate here) has the goods on an upcoming fanless Gigabyte GeForce 7600 GT graphics card. While Gigabyte has been making passively cooled products for quite some time, it's nice to see a passive design for such a new GPU. The GA-NX76T256D-RH will use a triple-wide Silent Pipe 2 heat pipe-based cooling system, and will be clocked at the reference 560MHz core clock speed, with 256MB of 1.4GHz GDDR3 memory and dual DVI outputs. The card should begin shipping in early April at approximately ¥28,000, or $237.47. Gigabyte will also be introducing a fanless 7600 GS in the same time frame, although that's somewhat less impressive considering that NVIDIA's reference design for the card already sports a passive heatsink.
