Have you seen Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers yet? Despite a nasty cold that has made me a little scarce here at TR lately, I drugged myself up on cold medicine, propped myself up in a seat, and watched the show Wednesday night. The tickets were purchased and the babysitting arrangements made, so there was no way I could back out.
So what did you think? Did they go too afar from the books this time around, or were the liberties they took necessary for a good screen adaptation? Was this a better movie than the first one? Do you think, like Dissonance, that Gollum should somehow be nominated for Best Supporting Actor? Was the battle at Helm's Deep overhyped, or did it live up to the billing?
