James Kim, a senior editor for CNet, has been found dead after going missing in the frozen Oregon wilderness 11 days ago. Kim and his family were headed to a coastal resort when they set out from Portland on November 25 and drove south down Interstate 5. They intended to take the Oregon 42 highway to reach the coast, but they missed the turnoff and became stranded after following a road that was closed down for the winter. Kim's wife and two daughters remained in the car, where they were found safe and sound nine days later, but Kim headed out to seek help. He went down a drainage area and wasn't seen again until today. At CNet, Kim covered digital audio products and also co-hosted a weekly video podcast for the Crave gadget blog.
