Rumors regarding AMD's upcoming ATI R600 graphics processor have been circulating for a while, but the folks at VR-Zone have managed to get their hands on what they say is a picture of the top-of-the-line R600 graphics card. The card is incredibly long and looks like it's outfitted with a massive, copper, heat pipe-based cooler. According to VR-Zone, that particular card has a length of no less than 12.4" (31.5cm), but it's intended solely for system builders and PC makers. The retail version will supposedly be "just" 9.5" (24.13cm) long, which would make it slightly shorter than Nvidia's 10.6" (27cm) GeForce 8800 GTX. As for power consumption, both cards will reportedly draw a staggering 270W. A slower, R600 "XT" model also rumored to be in AMD's launch lineup will have slightly lower power consumption of 240W.
