We have a pair of deals to share with you this week. Our first comes courtesy of TR reader Darth_nevus, who points out that ZipZoomFly is selling Intel's 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo E6600 processor for just $235 with a free copy of Supreme Commander (click the ZipZoomFly link on our price search engine page.) The E6600 still has an official price tag of $316, and it's been selling around the $300 mark since shortly after its launch last year. Apparently, Intel's expected April price cuts have hit ZipZoomFly just a little early. As for Supreme Commander, it came out about three months ago and still costs around $40 on its own.
Our second deal is XFX's GeForce 8600 GT XXX, which ZipZoomFly is offering for $159.99. The card is factory "overclocked" from the default 540MHz core clock speed and 700MHz memory clock to a respective 600MHz and 800MHz. Considering the level of performance we've seen from this card, the $160 price tag makes it a fine deal indeed. This particular card is also covered by XFX's "Double Lifetime" warranty, which even applies to second-hand cards.
Last, but not least, we'd like to remind you once again that Shuttle is still running a five-question giveaway survey where TR readers can win a Shuttle SDXi BYO limited edition barebones system. This giveaway ends in three days, so don't wait!
