Cheap iPod rumors persist
Rumors continue to swirl suggesting that Apple will announce a line of low-end iPods in January. The new music players will reportedly be available in 2GB and 4GB capacities, and in a variety of colors and patterns. Best of all, the cheapest of these new iPods could sell for as low as $100.
A $100 iPod with 2GB of storage would be sweet indeed, but with most MP3 players in that price range sporting only 128MB of memory, the mini iPods sound almost too good to be true. Let's hope not; I already want a red one.
