Initial Prescott supplies tight
HardOCP has taken a closer look at Prescott availability and learned that some system integrators are having a hard time getting their hands on boxed processors. Intel's biggest customers, including Dell, HP, and Gateway, appear to have snapped up early supplies for their Prescott-powered systems, leaving other vendors out in the cold. Prescotts have already popped up on Pricewatch, but no one seems to have boxed or OEM chips in stock.
