HKEPC Hardware has an early look (in Chinese, bring a translator) at Intel's 65-nano processors, including the Pentium XE 955 and Pentium 4 643. Performance is tested in a number of applications against Intel's current 90-nano processors, and power consumption and temperatures are also measured. Those latter results are particularly interesting, as they show generally lower temperatures and power consumption for the 65-nano chips.
In addition to testing upcoming processors, the article also looks at the performance of Intel's 975X chipset. Dual graphics performance is tested with a pair of CrossFire-compatible ATI graphics cards, and the crew even managed to get a pair of GeForce 6600 GTs running together. However, it doesn't look like SLI will be officially supported by the chipset, and it doesn't appear that a pair of GeForce 7800 GTX cards would work together in the board.
