AMD market share breaks 20%
AMD reportedly shipped 21.4% of all x86 processors in the final quarter of 2005. That's a solid improvement over the third quarter, when AMD's market share was only 17.7%. Market share was up across the board, with gains in mobile, server, and desktop markets, all likely at the expense of Intel.
