The Athlon 64's on-die memory controller should put the chipsets on equal footing in our memory performance tests.
Everything is pretty much tied up in Sandra, and the SiS755 doesn't do much to differentiate itself from the pack in Cachemem's bandwidth tests, either.
Our Linpack results don't show any differences between the SiS755 and the other Athlon 64 chipsets.
However, there's a little separation in Cachemem's latency test. Despite the fact that all the test systems were configured with 2-7-3-3 memory latencies, the nForce3 250Gb manages to slip ahead of the SiS755. This is probably more of a motherboard design difference than a chipset difference.
