You mean AMD should learn the lesson of poor VIA

Loled hard at Ms. Sandy vs Mr. Llano 😀

PS: the Asrock geek could have made a cameo 😀

Breaking news: Via just sold S3 to HTC.

God, are they in for a surprise once they open the package.

      *no returns*

I guess the S3 texture compression patent is worth… something?

      • Rakhmaninov3

WTF? S3 is still around? I thought their parts were only of interest to antiquers

    Very funny! Good stuff.

Only crit is that Llano can actually do anything as complex as SB, just slower.

      • Meadows

You might as well apply that to SB’s graphics then, just backwards. The point of caricature is exaggeration.

        • Bauxite

Except that SB graphics cannot do everything as complex as llano can, see: image quality

(and if you want to be nerdy, just put a bunch of NOR or NANDs on the board, you can do it all with just those)

      • Laykun

I think they call it exaggeration. Could be wrong though.

Geeks would rather be technically correct than funny. This is why the rest of the world doesn’t invite them to parties.

Ms. Sandy looks like the type to wear a Bun rather then a Pony Tail.

    Still pretty funny though.

More importantly is Ms. Sandy single?!?!??!?!?!?!one

I remember back in college when I knew how to do calculus. ah, those were the days.
Then I get out in the real world of programming and never use it. for anything. sad.

I do have some plans for a little linear algebra usage, though.

my math skills now are somewhere between Mr. Llano and Mr. Via

I hated taking match in college…. haven’t used it in programming ever.

Sadly, it seems true that VIA can’t keep up, it seems. Strange, given the fact that they were once all about integration / low power. Otherwise, great one. 😉

The should have drawn a stick figure on the chalkboard for VIA. 😀
