Hey, American Indians are from Asia, eat rice, worship cows (the buffalo kind), and speak in a foreign language... or at least those were their native ways.

I love Indian food! One of my favorite things about summer is eating fresh corn on the cob, which some call "maize".

I got a little background on this over IRC and the easy thing to do was make it fit into the code he's got. Yes, I would've classified the alternating rows, too.

I'll say that the #techreport bans list has a total of seven entries: I don't know what one of them is, the other is a joke about Jar-Jar Binks, and the rest ban two individuals. A change in hostmask is no reflection of a change in attitude.

The "NOES" thing sucked. If I never have to near "Noooooooooooooooo!" again, I'll be a happy man. The way I see it, the hate in Anakin clouded his mind and skewed his moral compass, and when he made the mistake of helping Sidious instead of Mace Windu, he was ultimately trapped. The way I see it, th...

b3n113: I've also run the 0.9 release candidate, which is a week or two old, but this is a newer build (20040614). The release candidate was sitting there in the 0.9rc directory, but 0.9 was newly created in the early morning, GMT. Help > About identifies it as 0.9, but 0.8 in the user agent string....

Firefox 0.9 Final out(?)

I heard it was coming in this 24 hour timeframe. I'd been waiting for this folder to appear, and finally, it did: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/0.9/ I've been running nightlies and the RC for at least a month, so it's hard to say what's new per se , other than the horrid ne...

How tidy is your case?

How tidy/messy is your system on the inside? Can you say the same of your workspace/desktop? I wired this up last weekend: http://www.visi.com/~champs/share/cabling.jpg You won't find any kind of order like that outside the box, or ANYWHERE in my apartment, for that matter. Since then, put split loo...

If you actually knew the team, you'd be aware that Moss had his greatest season ever, and this was one of Culpepper's best. A dud defense has been the knock on the Vikings for years and years. The only way to make that crew seem effective is by keeping them off the field. And even if I wasn't a Viki...

Go Packers!

Since there isn't a sports forum, I'll post this here.

With an offensive weapon like Ahman Green on the ground, Brett Favre managed to singlehandedly sink his team's entire season with yet another bad pass.

Thanks, from all of the Eagles, Vikings, and Bears fans!

I'm sorry if you're disappointed, but you can't expect much better, particularly if it's to run on relatively low end kit. Just because the graphics aren't DOOM III quality, it doesn't mean that they suck. It's a Blizzard game -- they focus on game play, loading up its engine with intelligent featur...

I prefer the Extra Pale Ale, although much like Mountain Dew, I like it much more with the old label on it. When I'm outside Minnesota, I go for Sierra Nevada's line of beers.

Hello, just got a chance to bench one of the 1.5GHz Willamettes with SDRAM that had been bitching about in the channel. I got here (as a regular) about a year ago, but the exact whens or whys are unknown.

As for the AT complaining, I think we've all done it, it's understood, and it's reflected in their page impressions. TR is not Ars, even if Damage and Dr. Evil came from it.
