as for mounting the 120mm fans, I only have 1 of the 4-in-3 mounts with fan, but I jury rigged the other 2 120mm fans in the front. just used some sheets of packing foam, rolled it up and wedged the fans in the front. The hard drives themselves are mounted on 3.5->5.25 converters, and one 120mm fan...

These here are very close in design...and not too much lost in space...but with adding a PSU you are just about where your at now for price..these are good ones as well..if you live anywhere around where TigerDirect has a factory outlet(like some of the lucky Chicago boys do) you can save on shippi...

take it for what you will, but when i built my first computer i also had my mind set on a full tower... mainly for the space like you, however I later found that decision to be unwise. Towers are very unwieldy, hard to move around and really not that much easier to work inside. I find well designed...

Great ideas Lickety! I'm still reading the reviews and specs,but I like what I see so far.Cases are a very personal choice.I have spent countless hours reading and searching.I have been a long time reader here,and a recent poster.This is one of my favorite pc forums for good advice.
