Re: Samsung C24FG70—best monitor, worst support

RAGEPRO, I have the exact same monitor and had the exact same "purple in the black" issue. I'll tell you how i fixed it but you're not going to like the answer... once I stopped running at 144hz and switched to 120hz, I have not had it happen again. "But you can't use 144hz!" - ...

Re: When powered on, computer starts-stops-starts-etc

I had something similar happen to me several months ago. I first replaced my PSU, but no luck. I then replaced my motherboard, but it still would not boot. Turns out it was my RAM all along, the part easiest to replace.

Good luck.

FTW. I actually saw Dethklok (Brenden Small w/ backing band) perform at the U of M last year. It was awesome.

Re: Paintball

I've owned an original ion since the day they were released. I used to be a manager/ref at field in Minnesota up until last month. I've seen alot of guns work great and a lot of guns not working great. Your choices and other peoples advice had been pretty spot on so far. If you are going for the ion...

Re: plasma 720P = 1080P?

How would you guys rate the Westinghouse TX-42F430S? I just noticed that the price dropped to just $1000. With 4 HDMI ports I think it's a really good deal. I have a friend who has the previous model 42" Westinghouse and am quite impressed by it for the price. I've got that tv and i like it. D...

ever put the Quake2 cd in a cd player? The whole soundtrack rocks. I think the band was Sonic Mayhem or something. I thought it was Trent Reznor and that's why the nail boxes in the first Quake had an NIN logo - that he did music for both games. Yepp, it was NIN that did the soundtrack. Trent did t...

if you are familiar with other adobe programs such as illustrator and photoshop then you shouldn't have too much trouble.

though i would recommend taking a class or two because it is a very powerful program; especially for typography.

What are they taking from me?

Is there a program that will tell me what files are being transfered over my home network?

I share my movies/games/music in a shared folder and I am just curious as to what is being taken.

Preferably the program would just write the list to a log file and *crosses fingers* be freeware!

I can't recommend anything but Tippmanns for new players. The Tippmann 98 can be had for about 130 or the A-5 for about 240. Both are two of the best mechanical paintball markers out there because of low maintenance and upgradability. I say mechanical because they don't involve electronics. That is ...

I LOVE my M-Audio Fast Track Pro.

USB powered! No extra power cord.
2 front inputs for instruments or mics.
Midi and SPDIF on the back.
48v phantom power for higher end mics.

I use it for SONAR/GuitarRig/Reason. Highly reccommended.
