Where I live, doctors (student doctors, even!) are regularly handed 40-hour shifts. i'm not kidding. they have to be awake for 40 hours and diagnose illnesses and prescribe drugs.

i have no idea how or why it's legal. I'm no doctor, but i have several friends who are. They slogged through it.

i never managed to get into Halo. Played halo 1, found it incredibly repetitive. also, i prefer my FPSes with mouse and keyboard.

honestly, do people find Halo really that good compared to PC FPS games, or was it just that popular because console FPSes were relatively crappy?

The higher SPLs they produce also damage your hearing quicker. that's what the volume knob is for... in fact, it's the exact opposite. due to the fact that they block out background noise, you can play things back at much lower volumes and hear clearly, whereas with other systems you have to turn u...

i'd still recommend OP give it another try, though. comfort in IEMs really just boil down to the tips. Not sure how many he's tried, but if the silicone tips don't work, try foam ones. if regular foam isn't great, try memory foam. I played around and ended up buying comply foam tips separately, in m...

yup. kind of an annoying case to work with, but it DOES have several features that i wanted: 1. most compact case that could house 6 hard drives 2. decent airflow setup as a bonus, it has rubber grommets built in for the drives. But it takes 6 screws to take off each side panel. Bleh. This isn't a c...

on a budget of $2k, and you want it somewhat future-proof-ish? spend $1k now, put $1k in the bank account and withdraw it two years from now to spend on upgrades. a $1k gaming PC can easily get you 1080p gaming. even TR's Sweet Spot build is more than enough: http://techreport.com/review/25250/tr-ba...

Of course you guys might want to look outside the PC space for why Mantle may take off and take off running. it looks like Mantle is the low level API for the new generation consoles (most notably Xbox one), if this is the case which it does indeed appear to be then if Mantle gets used in the new g...
