Re: Xbox 360 still worth it?

Besides real life that's what I thought. So basically most other stuff are compressed that are not of the disk format e.g.: DVD, HD DVD  and Blu-Ray. The disk formats are compressed too, but to a lesser extent and generally with more efficient codecs than MPEG-2 (the spec codec for HDTV). Cabl...

Re: Xbox 360 still worth it?

Why are some of you people all on MS XB360 lack of a BluRay drive? I mean yes it's the current generation HD format disk but do you only buy BluRay movies all the time now? I think having them stored on a HDD to be better than any disk like what MS is going to do soon .

Seeing as you have the patience to wait I would suggest that you should go with Intel 45nm CPU's (as FF said  ) & as far as ATI goes there're looking to release their upcoming Radeon HD 3870 X2 (R680) sometime in January.

When you consider that the ps2 had many problems filling orders early for the xmas season and how CRAZY the prices were on ebay for a ps2 ($1000 or more!) I can't wait to see the travesty that is the price gouging on this unit early on. I also probably won't buy one because the games will cost more...
