Dead R.A.T. New mouse!

Well my trusty R.A.T.7 has fallen and gone to the big exterminator's graveyard in the sky. The Logitech G600 was on offer on Amazon in the UK so I've grabbed one: http://tecdrome.net/images/G600%20white.jpg (Image source Source: Tecdrome.net) Although I don't really play MMO's anymore (Neverwinter i...

Good point actually, what OS did you upgrade from, 7 or 8.1?

Could use takeown on the Windows install folder?

best bet is probably to nuke though as said above

Did you do an upgrade install? possibly file ownership issues, boot into Safe mode (if it works) as admin and take ownership of the root of the drive down.

Multiple 24-hours shifts when working nightshift in a 24x7 Server team, where no-one's turned in the next morning. Really not a pleasant day when you get past about 15 hours and stuff's going wrong or it's really busy.

Re: Finally installed 16gb of memory in 2600k rig

What exactly are you guys doing that you notice a difference going from 8GB to 16GB of RAM? I'm genuinely curious, since I have a few systems with 4, 6 and 8, but I've never used more than that. I put 8GB of G.SKILL DDR3-1333 in my 2500K system back in 2011 and I haven't honestly even thought of ad...

You should expect a performance increase if anything, moving to 1T.

The capacity alone is such a sweet difference, I recently moved myself from 8GB 2133Mhz to 16GB 2400Mhz and it's so much better.
