you might want to try calling Klipsch; my 5.1's wired remote died a few years back. they forwarded me to their repair center and they seemed to have parts for everything. though by the time you fix it, its probably most of the cost of a new set.
even with a fried cpu, I would imagine the board would at least spin up the cpu fan. I'm thinking DoA; it seems unlikely that I'd have two dead 1156 boards (yes I've taken stats; i know that to be a falacy)
got an old oem foxconn/i5 650 from someone; it would boot (no led that I can see, proprietary front panel pin out so I couldnt confirm I was shorting the right headers), so I bought a new MSI board and same thing. No post, fan's won't spin up. This is with just cpu (with or without ram). Using a 20p...
I was going to upgrade my sister's comp. Uses are media, excel/accounting software and light gaming at 1080p (I introduced her to skyrim. oops). She's got a am2 5600, 2gb ram and a gts 250 atm. Upgrade plans were as follows: i5 2500k - $220 asus z68 - $140 8GB RAM - $40 ati hd6770 - $85 total - $485...
My phone and many of my friends androids have a recurring issue with crashing. Can anyone tell me if this is resolved after 2.3? I would hate to get a transformer prime and have it be a buggy mess. TR said that the transformer was much more functional as a tool than the ipad... Can anyone else spea...
just bought a split fish shark 360 in a last ditch attempt to give it another shot :P Good luck. I tried a Split fish for the PS3 once. It was buggy and unreliable. I returned it. apparently this one (rev3) is better.... works like a hot damn on the pc tho. doesnt have to be perfect tho; just enoug...
WTF how is a "farewell" buying the latest and greatest parts available? WTF kind of a sick definition is that. You make me feel sick for owning a q9450. A real "My farewell to extreme PCs" post would be where you have a PC that is 2 generations behind current tech and you are de...
wonder if it would work on a pentium e2140? got it in a g41 board but i cant push it past 1066 no matter what the voltage :/ Well you're talking about a stripped down Conroe that was probably binned in some way. Going from 1.6GHz to 2.13GHz is a pretty big jump, percentage-wise. 33% is a really exc...
In a nutshell, if you like Diablo 2 and WoW. Diablo 3 will fit like a glove, but if you were expecting something a little different, prepare to be disappointed.
first thing i would try is plugging the hdd into a sata II header instead of the sata III. i believe they're backwards/forwards compatible tho i've yet to purchase a sata 3 drive so i can't verify.
i have two no-longer used xp pro keys - which you could have for free... the catch being that they're 150 miles away and i wont' be back home til friday :S IF you wanna wait i'd be more than happy to send you one.
ncix.com had the galaxy gt560 ti on for $170 this past week (until they sold out). next flyer comes out wednesday; they often put out more "surprise specials"
isn't it a waste to ship a laptop with a 4gb sodimm in one slot and a 2gb in the other? doesnt this force the laptop to run in single channel instead of dual channel? oogling this samsung and figured i'd need have to buy a decent 2X4gb sodimm kit to go with it
is there any way to do the web design for preview before signing on the dotted line with them? i guess i could preview the "personal" web service which seems to be free
You've said you are interested in learning, but how deep into this do you *really* want to get? At this point, somewhere around 20-40 hours max. That will still take me at least a month to find the time for (although we're going to visit the inlaws for a week soon, so i may have a lot of time on my...
I was hoping to do the design myself. I have very limited experience, but I'd like to learn. I'm not opposed to hosting it myself. That actually was a thought I'd had; my htpc/nas is on all the time anyways (may need to beef it up). Unfortunately i am on a dynamic ip. Might be worthwhile investigati...
Looking to create a website for my dad's business. Google turns up results on the basics, but I'd rather get the recommendations of respectable gerbils before I go spending money on domain registration and web hosting. Money is available for these things, but I'd rather keep cost as low as possible....
before you buy a phone, 1) make sure that a bootloader exploit has been found (if not, give it two weeks and someone will fine one), 2) install cyanogen mod, 3)????, 4)Profit
