Re: Anyone repair anything today?

Not repaired but yesterday changed all the halogens of my cars with LEDs. Went with this as my normal halogens were just not good enough for freeway driving. Please note: If you are upgrading to LED lights go for 4 way LEDs or 360 degree LED Lights as they replicate halogens light throw hence you ge...

Re: Air conditioner unit making annoying bubbling noise

Bubbling sound is usually due to leak (Low refrigerant) , before sealing the leak, vacuuming the cooper pipes (this is important) is required. I had a similar problem with my AC cooling unit (Indoor unit) and it would make a lot of bubbling and blasting, a lot of tech guys looked into it and finally...

Re: Router hangs when desktop Lan connection in use.

OK, now I am really confused. You said a few posts back that you were still having problems when you bypassed the router? I forgot to add, i did directly connect my PC to the ISP's line, even the tower's device was hanging and losing connection. So i am pretty sure router is not the culprit. Until ...

Re: Router hangs when desktop Lan connection in use.

Sounds like a defective router to me. I forgot to add, i did directly connect my PC to the ISP's line, even the tower's device was hanging and losing connection. So i am pretty sure router is not the culprit. Well that's really weird then; the symptoms are inconsistent. If it still happens with the...

Re: Router hangs when desktop Lan connection in use.

Have you tired switching to another LAN port on the router to rule out a connection issue on a particular port. No, i have not done that. I will try it today. Does it only hang when it's passing through lots of data (like Netflix), or will it hang regardless when the hard-wired PC is on? No, it han...

Re: Router hangs when desktop Lan connection in use.

How hot is the router getting? Is it dusty? If you point a fan at it does the problem take longer to show up? Router is clean and doesn't get hot at all, infact its in Air-conditioned room. I will however try to point a fan at it see if it changes the situation. I am also currently looking for a La...

Router hangs when desktop Lan connection in use.

This issue has me bowled, i have no clue why my router hangs and drop internet connection as soon as i use my Home PC. Having used both front loader and top loader, i wouldn't recommend top loader to anyone. They don't do good job in washing and also increase tangling decreases clothes life. Its been 2 years i am stuck with top loader, once my budget approves i will be back to front loader.

Re: Anyone repair anything today?

The technology I really like recently are the one's that have multiple fan speeds or variable. "Multi-stage" I think it might be called. That lets you run the fan at more than just full-speed. I did some research and found that invertor AC have variable compressor speed, so when they are ...

I hate the way Windows 10 resumes update during my online game play session. Re: Anyone repair anything today?

The holes I drilled were all rather small, around 5mm. I drilled one at the top to let air in and two at the bottom for water to come out. I needed two because the tail light lens was chambered and so the first one only let out half the water. I didn't notice any dust buildup, but I live in a prett...

Re: Anyone repair anything today?

Sunday was spent cleaning the Tail light of my VW POLO. Rain water had somehow entered taillight casing through the leaked rubber housing, shorting all the bulbs. That happened on my Chrysler mini-van a few years ago. Corroded the bulb contacts in the housing... I had to use Kerosene to clean the c...

As much as I'd like to recommend Ryzen to you, I would expect that you're more gaming focused than people are giving you credit for, because the 1070 is not a light gaming card. I don't think Ryzen will be the right choice at the level you're talking about. The R5 1600 makes a lot of sense against ...
