Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Never seen a path-hole on Gujarat's India freeway since 5 years, but yesterday i was greeted with not one but two. Bent 2 rims and 2 tires busted of VW Polo. Luckily the car didn't lose control (was doing 70 miles per hour) and support services help us reach home.

Re: CUI (Clicking Under the Influence)

Ordered a 12X30 water pool when i was 6 pegs down (last year), it was expensive but turn out to be the best possible gift for my daughter. So 12 feet deep? Or 30 feet deep? That adds a new level to the phrase "being thrown into the deep end". :P LOL, sorry for the misunderstanding, it was...

Re: Skylake-X Round 2: 7980XE, 18 COARZ

So some new rumors with a semi-credible looking Intel marketing slide to back them up indicate that the relatively well documented Skylake-X lineup going up to 12 cores is just the first wave of the launch. Sometime in the future (probably Q4) the Skylake-X line will expand to include even moar coa...

You own a Z97 chipset, i suggest replace your current CPU with i7 4790K, OC it to 4.7GHZ and call it a day.

Re: A solution to Ryzen's gaming inconsistency in the works?

I'm having flashbacks to Bulldozer and how "optimization" was going to fix everything. You are having wrong flashbacks, bulldozer was a dud, Ryzen is not. Ryzen is keeping up with the best of Intel at almost half the price which in my opinion is a hugh success. Also when you consider the ...

Re: Ryzen Passmark: Prime and Physics are off, excels at everything else.

Cinebench leaks, this time scores of 1700X. Looks like AMD has a winner.

Intel Core i7 6800K (@ 4.0 GHz) scores 1259 points.. and i7 5960X scores 1318.

Re: Ryzen Passmark: Prime and Physics are off, excels at everything else.

Anyone seen this leak ? Looks like AMD has higher IPC then Haswell but lower than broadwell. wouldn't 146 @ 3.3ghz vs 152 @ 3.6ghz mean it has higher IPC than broadwell? (I guess Cinebench must be relevant to someone, but they would most likely rather see the multicore results anyway.) Actually Bro...

Re: Share Your GPU Undervolt

Not RX 480 but running HD 7970 - 1050 MHZ @ 1030mV currently. That is quite an aggressive undervolt. I ran mine at 1090mV/1000MHz but undervolted at the BIOS. I could go a bit lower but didn't want to risk putting it into the BIOS. Actually these numbers are set in bios, since recently after 4 year...

Re: DOTA 2 Sucks?

I think the biggest remaining criticism of DOTA and it becomes more apparent after each major update... is the learning curve.  More over how poorly Valve supplements people with BASIC strategy, tactics and mechanics. I vehemently disagree.  The worst part of DOTA 2 is the people who play DOTA 2, a...
