Re: Badminton

And I thought the cricket crowd here was odd. I've seen a bit of it here & there and it's just gob-smacking to see that what I think of as an "everyone can play" slow-speed picnic game is actually the fastest racquet sport there is. Well I'd forgive most people in the Americas ...

Hence the "or the web" part of my question. You could catch it on YouTube from some dedicated uploaders although you'd obviously be watching something that took place a month prior or something like that when the video of the tournament finally uploads. Sometimes they upload rather quickly...

Does anybody here on the TR forum religiously (or just regularly) follow badminton tournaments on TV or the web?

Re: Crysis 2 :(

In terms of visual fidelity, PC gamers aren't getting anything better than its console counterparts. Very minimalistic in terms of how much you can tweak the visual settings. Personally I wasn't really impressed with the multiplayer demo. I thought that 12 hours of single player would make up for th...

Re: Forcing constant voltage via MSI Afterburner

I've overclocked the card just a tiny bit from stock. But I'm noticing that the card doesn't sit well with the settings despite it being a mild overclock. It BSODs everytime it puts the display to sleep. I noticed the option to force constant voltage and since checking the box I haven't had any prob...

Forcing constant voltage via MSI Afterburner

Hi guys,

There's an option within Afterburner that allows for forcing constant voltage. I never had it checked before and I'm wondering if that will have any adverse effect whatsoever if the option is checked.

Thanks! :)

Where's the option of sticking to 775 instead of getting off of it?

I'm still sporting a Core 2 Quad Q8300 on a 775 based motherboard.

Re: Razer Blackwidow

Do you think de-glossing the Razer with a scour pad would be successful? I don't think I could live with that gloss finish with how I treat my keyboards. Would be interested to see if it is possible. Personally I don't want to try it. Might end up bricking it or something. I speak for myself of cou...

Re: Razer Blackwidow

Initial impressions: -Packaging was tiring, for whatever reason. Maybe I was tired. -It is louder than the G15, but not much. Space feels just a tad stiff, but the keys overall are lighter. It's not offensive though, and is a dream to type on as it should be. -The key back-lighting is superior to t...

Well I've received my Razer Blackwidow in the mail today and I'm impressed. Seriously impressed. Not as noisy as I'd imagined and the clickedy-clackedy sound is just right. Haven't gotten used to typing on it just yet but soon I will. Very happy with it. As for NKRO, using the test link provided by ...

Re: Mechanical Switch Keyboards

i am curious why you have no interest - or don't like - the Steelseries 6/7. Not to pick an argument but because I'm considering buying a new board myself. I'm guessing it's the weird layout of the keyboard what with the oddly sized backspace and extra large enter key. I prefer my keyboards to have...

Re: Razer Blackwidow

I'm getting my Blackwidow soon. I don't think I'm fussy about NKRO since I've been gaming for the past year and a half with an $80 Logitech Wave keyboard (wireless and it came bundled with a wireless mouse). Although I must say since this keyboard is labeled as a gaming keyboard NKRO is a must espec...

On the Blackwidow you mean? Only way to find out is to test it on the keyboard itself I guess.

AOpen G325 Front USB Problem

Hey guys, been awhile since I posted here. I recently got my components moved from my old Silverstone case to this new one. The front of this new case has 2 USB 2.0 ports but they don't seem to be working. Windows will say that the device connected has malfunctioned but when I plug the same device i...

I am as well. I never used to have a problem. Ever. Until a couple months ago. Annoying, very but for some strange reason I don't seem to mind. And I don't know why. But I just mark it as spam, block from my contact list and inform Microsoft. VERY annoying is what it is. I'm really puzzled as to ho...

What are the full system specs? I would highly doubt a current gen CPU would be bogged down by a 5870, that card is pretty fast. The entire system should not have a problem running anything you can throw at it.

It's not BF2 (and there's plenty of things to miss about BF2), but it's got some great moments of its own. So sad they ditched the Commander option in this game, perhaps wasn't built to have the Commander anyway. I do miss it however. Reaper: Have fun with the medic. I just got my last unlock lastn...

I usually go as assault, recently picked up the medic class. One REALLY odd thing I'm noticing is that the SUPERB accuracy of the M60 when using the 4x Scope. For example, when I'm playing on the Atacama Desert Conquest map, standing from the C (or was it A?) point facing towards the stranded ship, ...

Really interested in this one- I tend to skip the COD games as they appear to me to be more flash then flesh. If I wasn't such a Battlefield fan I would've waited until EA/DICE ironed out all the bugs and tweaked what ever that needs to be tweaked. On the other hand, if you're REALLY itching to get...

Personally, I have just a couple of problems with the game. Lag. It's evident in the game. The servers you join may be well below 50ms ping BUT when you get in game, the feel of game play is vastly different. There might be something wrong with how the game displays proper ping in game and in the ga...
