Re: Who is left

Well I’m still in touch with a couple of you chaps after all these years. But hi to everyone else! I’m married (8 years now), pregnant and in a very high power government job. Thanks for all teaching me how to deal with life. It’s much appreciated. Especially Vrock. Debating with you when I was what...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

You must have bypassed the front page! Things have...happened. A brave few are keeping the content feed on lifesupport but TR is basically an archive at this point, and half of the archive is buried at archaeological depths. Hah. I always bypassed the front page. I was only ever here for the forum....

Re: Standing desks?

I have one at work, most of us do. I use it every day, probably half the day sitting and half standing. But a couple of days a week I’ll have it standing all day.

And that’s in heels.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Just thought I'd stop in and share some disturbing news. I turned 30 yesterday, I became friends with most of you that know me on here when I was 18. Except Gleek, who I've known since I was 15. Yep. I've now known Gleek for 15 years. Actually, I think I've now known Gleek longer than I've not known...

Re: dymt reloaded

Helpful, thanks. Obviously I googled it too. Was looking more for someone with experience as to which is a good, non dodgy, has experience with it one. I just wanted some help as to which of the hundreds available to download I should download.

But nevermind, other gerbils have already helped.

Re: dymt reloaded

Gah, I just don't know what I'm looking for, I think that's the problem. I'm sure apple made a cable like that before… I'll just go into the shop and ask the wee man.

Thanks Ned.

Yes, still in NZ, here for another year at least :)

Re: dymt reloaded

Quick question, what kinda cable do I need if I want a cable to be in the lightning bolt bit on the side of a macbook on one end and into HDMI on the other?

Is that mini hdmi to hdmi or is it something else?

I hate cables.

BTW Hi <3

I'm Annabel and I lack originality with online names. Half Persian, born and spent younger years in Berlin, lived most of my life in Edinburgh, currently living in Wellington, NZ. I'm 26, single and ready to mingle. Like technology but suck at it, pretty much just buy apple products because I think ...

I was born in Berlin and grew up there for a good few years! Some other sly Germany gerbils but they seem to be remaining silent so I'll not name and shame.

Enjoy!

I'm only here until April, giving a kitty a temporary home isn't nice :/

Plus cats don't like me, so I don't think it's the best idea. The house next door has a kitty though

Well I'm not going to leave, not til April as planned anyway. So I'll just wibble wobble along til then and hope my building doesn't pancake.

Hmm and maybe steal a cat? Seems like a decent plan.

Well if "the big one" is going to strike Wellington, then there isn't really much we can do about it, I just really really hope I'm not in the massive building that I work in when it happens. Someone's just been telling me that their cat that normally refuses to go outside is currently ref...

Re: Earthquakes.

Definitely in agreement that they should settle down soon. I'm suffering from ghost quakes now, as I think a lot of people are. It's not been as bad this time as it was during the July quakes, when it was just two weeks of constant shakes and I honestly started feeling sea sick. I'm just not used to...

Well I came to NZ from Scotland a while ago and I'm only here temporarily. Yes it's probably dangerous but I refuse to run away :/ having said that a lot of travellers that I know here have left now.

I mean you can't just leave..

I'd love to send them away :D

Went to a beer festival last weekend. Tried all these crazy craft beers that had hot pokers in them and all sorts, you would have been proud JBI. I tried 48 different kinds!
