Re: Same as RD

Weird.. I thought the 386DX and above had 32bit interfaces. Wasn't the 386SX actually a 32bit chip with only a 16bit data path... hence the differentiation between the SX and the DX? Hi. No the first 32bit chips from Intel where the Pentium's. That's why, if you were still using SIMM's, you needed ...

I think it's used by the server to help work out exact player positions when

use your ISP's and configure your mail client to use "myaddress@bigfoot.com" as the email address. Pretty easy to do with Mozilla/Netscape, haven't tried with OE (or any other mail client). That's going to be the best way. In OE, it's in Tools > Accounts > Properties As Steel said, just change the ...

Check to see if the RAM stick is double-sided (chips on both sides). If it is,
your motherboard may only be able to read one side of the stick.

It happens with older / non standard motherboards.

Who's your ISP? Some ISPs that use webcache servers have this
problem, because the webcache is giving you the wrong / out of date
information.

Check with your ISP whether they use webcaches. If they do, ask them if
they have different ones to try / can it be bypassed.

Makes sense, especially considering I've also heard about this 5bit FID as

I always thought you needed to close the bridges to unlock a TBred
though? Oh well.. never mind. Gonna go for an upgrade methinks 8)

AMD XP TBred Automatic Unlocking?

I gather some nForce2 based mobos can automagically *cough* allow you
to alter the multipliers on TBred processors. So, I have a question for
you:

Which motherbaords offer this? I've heard the Chaintech Zenith does, but
what about the Abit / Epox / Asus?

Thanks

I'm thinking of getting it, you see, mainly because of the bundle that
comes with it, but it'd be an added bonus of it really is as stable as 'they'
say it is. :D

I don't think that the AGP Aperature size will affect PCI cards at all.

You'll need a Cat5 Crossover cable. You should be able to pick this up in your local computer store. Make sure it's a crossover and not a patch cable. Also, you'll need to set up each computer with the relevant IP address and subnet mask. Something like this: Computer one: IP Address: 192.168.1.1 Su...

Hi all. Does anyone know whether there are any drivers available for a 64Mb KYRO II under FreeBSD 4.6? Neither Hercules nor Powervr.net have them, but it's possible another 3rd party has made some? As long as the optical drives are IDE, yes :)

As for the Zip drive.. I assume it's an Internal one? If so.. it'll probably
use one of your IDE channels... just as an optical drive would.
