Re: NFL 2017

..Heckofa ending in Minnesota, though. :D yup. Really, all the Saints had to do was some pass interference with the Vikings receivers - the clock and the distance (even with a penalty) would have done the rest. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some Viking's fans in the stadium that walked away...

Or, to put it simply: One is explicitly and formally a cartel. The other one is a probable cartel, based on past history. Not exactly "nothing like" each other. Their (DRAM manufacturers) public operation isn't quite the same (..though through the DRAMeXchange they are't that far removed ...

It's (IMO) more than reasonable supposition. Like it is with OPEC and gas prices. Uh... that's really just not the same thing, sorry. OPEC has public agreements, and the C in it stands for Country, not company. Sovereign nations can do what they want, and so forth: no need to hide or pretend. It's ...

No. You outlined something you have yet to backup.

I don't need to "back it up" - it was supposition (..the historical and current pricing is of course fact).

The milking of the sea cow was intended to be repulsive. I get that. However, it struck me as awkward, forced, and out-of-place. It could easily / should have been left out altogether. The film would not have been lessened in the slightest. It was a world-building element and in that respect: yes, ...

mid - 2016 ECC Unbuffered DDR4 (skylake server build) 16 GB sticks could be purchased for as low as about $80. A few months later it started climbing in price, with a few troubles (factory-wise) here and there, and predictably the price was increasing. I didn't know about those problems at that time...

I have owned phone OLEDs (Note3/S8+) and the the infinite contrast ratio versus 1000:1 LCDs is IMO overrated even in a completely dark room. LCDs dark greys as black don't bother me as long as the relative contrast of the image holds up.. The preferred "dark room" comment for OLED's wasn'...

I always preferred LCD myself. Higher definition images - which I think had a lot to do with the amount of glass for the particular TV (..with the thick glass Plasmas being a real turn-off).
