Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I think that this hobby is safer than my job. Almost every factor that could cause trouble is under my control so it's just a matter of good practice and decision making.

Here is my satisfying moment, first time launching with assistance.

And here is my professional and smoothly done butt slide landing.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I did my first flight today. Running and then feeling your feet lift off the ground and start flying is an incredible feeling. Coasting around at 300 feet with your feet dangling, smiling is mandatory. I'm going to post a video of some of it later. It was an assisted launch, I didn't solo the wing p...

At least it wasn't DEF.

By the way my training ends Friday so I'm good for something this weekend.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Lately I've noticed that ads may include an asterisk, on a price for example, but never actually bother to tell you what it means. It's just weird, making me aware of the fact there's some sort of catch and then leaving it there.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Barring any problems tomorrow is the day I fly. I WAS relaxed and confident and today I watched a trainee get a little eager on the way to landing and pull brakes to max way too early. He barely had any forward movement when he hit the ground so I, and the trainer, have no idea how he didn't full st...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Today I flew my wing like a kite, and it flew me like a feather filled ragdoll. Gust of wind yanked me up a few feet and took me for a ride right into another trainees wing. So far this has involved a lot of butt puckering and Tylenol. I forgot the mount for my camera so tomorrow I'll get some vids.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Day one training walked a third of a mile with the one hundred pound motor pushing me forward with about 50 or 60 pounds of force while I was trying to hold it back. It's interesting walking while leaning backwards, however the pain of holding that and my own weight back it's something else. My legs...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

This truck stop put up a red do not enter tape on it's side door so people are walking around to the front. If you get closer to the door you can see the tape has small Halloween imagery on it and the entrance is fine. Maybe pick decorations a little better. Also in my efforts to get to Florida for ...

Lol, plenty of professional musicians record albums in random rental houses with a large cardboard box with some foam on it protecting three sides around the mic. You can work it out without copying studio setups.

Id like to thank you guys for pointing out that panty hose make good filters. I have a tunnel fan which has also become a dust filter for my cab thanks to that tip. Poetic lessons of the Heiwashin Experience:(think it in a country music voice and it sounds more poetic) I learned a new trick recently. Pain teaches well in the absence of intelligence. I heard a loud noise in the shower. So loud that opened my eyes. I guess i had forgotten that i had just finished...

Driving towards Houston and the majority of houses and business had their buildings inards sitting on the street. Crazy looking.

Also I've noticed that news on TV has started mimicking some of the styles and techniques of YouTubers.

Yea the real ending was the whole cap to even the title name. He's not a good legend because he's a survivor, he's a bad legend because he's a murderer of people in the new world civilization of zombies with culture. That whole grenade thing really weirded it up.
