Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I'm stuck at the DMV. Time to renew my license, have to do everything except the road test. Been here 2+ hours so far, not done yet. More of the DMV process needs to be computerized. How about we privatize it and let some competitors spring up and see how good it gets. Although it is interesting to...

Re: Drone Talk!

Looks like it has mostly good reiews, that means it works and is pretty durable at least. The return to home and headless functions that work exclusively using an accelerometer never work well, so don't depend on those and fly outside of your comfortable distance. I can't tell if it has a full manua...

Another avenue i'll give you guys to learn, some awesome simulators. Right now i use velocidrone. It's environments and race maps are absolutely outstanding and no other sim competes, but i'm not sure how learner friendly it is. I'm not even sure if it has a leveled mode or line of sight. I used to ...

Re: Retro games you'd like to see remade

Hello I want to see "outrun" and "Metroid" to be remade because Just picked up my old Outrun cab from the person who bought it from me a few years ago and I think something happened in transit. I only get half of the audio effects. For example, I get half the tones of the music,...

I see outlier things like this which I'm still waiting for the guy's final updates. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2904125-Screwed-by-DJI-AGAIN%21%21 You can see his experience has been a nightmare but it's extremely rare and it's something you could experience with any of the o...

Well I hope you like it. I'm gonna try to post some more videos soon. It occurred to me that I've had so many problems with keeping my camera mounted in the past or losing the camera now that I haven't posted a real video of my flying style in a good spot ever so I'm gonna try to get that done eithe...

Those look like brushed motors. If you find yourself enjoying it quickly order some more motors as they have lifespans like 5 to 10 hours if they're high quality. They're inexpensive usually just want to prepare for them dying.

Well ever since this problem they haven't been ranked highly by most enthusiasts. https://www.theverge.com/2016/11/8/13569730/gopro-karma-drone-recall-announced I'm actually indifferent to that incident since DJI has had it's problems too that they didn't issue recalls for. Feature wise differences ...

Quite honestly, I think better than 95% of Amazon shoppers don't notice/realize/understand when they're buying an item sold by a 3rd party. On multiple occasions I've had friends/co-workers who are prolific Amazon shoppers give me a deer-in-headlights look when I point out that an item is 3rd party...

If you want nightmare fodder look at dashcam vids on LiveLeak. I do it to learn, but I see some disturbing things. Let's just say, for starters, whenever I drive by people walking I do a rough estimate about where their head would fall if they tripped into the road and I drive outside of that area. ...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

Guess it's different in Vermont, most states simply require that you yield right of way, which means if you aren't in the way your fine. Uhhhh...have you actually looked up the law in "most states"? It's been a couple years (decades) since my driver's test but back then, the manual explai...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I don't ever have a problem with that. Give the ambulance a wide berth. Why? If the path is totally and completely clear then drive normally. It's not driving a bomb or sensitive to you being on the other side of the street. One time I was in the car with someone that was so silly she stopped in th...

Always funny when someone pulls off of an extremely low traffic road because an ambulance is coming on the other side of a two way road. I wonder how many accidents have been caused by people doing unnecessary and silly things like that.

I find myself deciding that it's time to dispose of all of my older 4s batteries. They have too much gas in them. Yes it's a fundamental feature of investing that there are some tens of thousands of missed opportunities, and equally as many disastrous money pits. It's easy to call them hindsight, but many a people have lost a lot of money actually trying to"make calls". Also Bitcoin was a huge risk of...
