New phone feature i didn't know i wanted but i did. When i pick up the phone and there's a notification of a message or call, the phone will vibrate. It does it really fast and responsively too, so i can easily palm it and just put it back down confidently if i was only checking for messages or miss...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

The weather is just a bucking bull trying to shake us off these days. Record highs and record lows every chance the planet gets. My recovery is still sucking. I've had a lot of time to read about other peoples recovery experiences. Found that people that have had more "major" surgeries ten...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

i really hate taking this medicine for pain. The medicine combined with my severe lack of sleep is causing a really annoying, highly repetitive, sudden micro-sleep response. Lets say i'm playing a game to pass the time. I open a door, walk through, and go on about my business in the game. Then i wak...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I'm on day 4 after the tonsillectomy, submucous resection of the inferior turbinates, and septoplasty of a deviated septum. I'd heard that days 6 to 8 or so were the worst because the scabs start freeing themselves from the tonsils and the pain reaches maximum levels. Knowing i have a limited supply...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I feel like getting both at the same time was probably a mistake. It was the doctors suggestion, and it makes sense from a time and financial perspective, but i'm struggling the most with the issue that i can't breathe through my nose, and i can barely use my throat properly too. It makes eating ext...

Re: In the market for a drone

Back when I had mine, at airports it would follow a formula to stay under the landing pattern. So if you were across the street an airport you could fly up to 75 feet, and it tapered up over a few miles. I think most airports 2 mile floor allow for 1000-1500 feet so I reckon it's reasonable.

Re: In the market for a drone

My guess is that it's intentional. I had a hard time explaining to a irresponsible Paramotor pilot that he couldn't fly in the middle of Detroit because of airspace issues so he would head to the slight edge of the classified airspace and takes off there. A good gust of wind, or a loss of orientatio...

Re: In the market for a drone

Tanker did you check air maps and make sure. When you say border do you mean the border of the facility or the airspace which would be much larger

Also I mean the real vfr charts, not drone fly maps.

Re: In the market for a drone

That's the one i used to use as well, but the portability of the mavic is a feature that outweighs most of the benefits of the phantom series for casual users.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I got my s9+, and so far it fixes all of the problems i had with bluetooth at least. It will save me a lot of time if it auto connects as expected and works somewhat reliably. I didn't complain about this but, for funsies, here's a picture of the burn in issues in which a class action is being done ...

Re: In the market for a drone

Flying a phantom isn't like flying a real non auto multirotor so you Don't really need an entry like a 100$ non GPS model. The only thing that matters with the, essentially automated, DJI products is that you actually read and fully understand the instructions. Flying a DJI product is not like flyin...

Firstly it has a quirk where it won't auto connect to my truck so every time I restart it I have to manually connect. I'm replacing my pixel much earlier than I would normally replace a phone but I'm tired of the Bluetooth and audio issues. The audio issues have a class action going so maybe I'll get some compensation. Anyway I'm getting a s9+ to replace it hope it works as expected.

Re: In the market for a drone

DJI products are your best bet for a photography platform. The mavic fits most people's needs well enough. As for communication issues, that is a matter of pilot understanding and preparation. You can tell it how to react if it loses signal. The safest method is actually for it to stop and hover. Pe...

Re: How to delete a system dynamic partition

@blahsaysblah - Dynamic partitions and UEFI are not tied to each other AFAIK. You can have either one without the other. At least, this was the case in earlier versions of Windows. The best way to ensure that there's no partition cruft left to mess up your new install is to back up all of the data ...

Need help finding problem ad

I'm helping a site i frequent try to hunt down a problem set of scam ads presumably coming from one source at this point. Quite the opposite of the ops claims I've found windows in general to be very good at making problems detectable and my issues have always been hardware failures or driver problems.
