I like to think of these top speed pushing drones like f1 engines. Fast, for an extremely short lifetime.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

On a random note, that link I posted in RC. The guy said the current on his setup is so high that the solder melts during full load. What can you even do about that. Is there a high temp solder or something.

Re: Radio Control Hobbies

I recently watched a video of a quad doing 145 mph. This hobby is evolving so fast. https://youtu.be/vAJyGfpV0dw Lately my flying skills have reached the point where I feel limited by my current power so I'm upgrading again. Going to a smaller lighter frame with more power. Looking at 550 grams flyi...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

At one point I was getting pretty annoyed with any cooking after smells. If I'd cook spaghetti or something it would sink into everything. I didn't have an exhaust hood at the time though.

I wish I had known that joe nail was a thing. I would have been there. Next year I'm there. Watched some really cool videos at least. Found this little complilation of tesla vehicles avoiding accidents. It's pretty yummy. I love the first one especially, safely avoided a potential rear end, somethin...

Yes * was used as a stand-in for the actual special character, in the same way that the numbers were used as replacements for the actual character, since I didn't repeat numbers to specify which letter.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I called fidelity and learned that on the phone you enter your online login password with the numbers, one press per character regardless of the letter, and special characters are all represented by *. The first thought that goes through my mind is i hope they have two different hashed password tabl...

Re: 16 Y/o dies from caffeine overdose

It's simple really. It's very hot to take something that people deal with on a daily basis and link it to causing death. It draws viewers hard. And I've met a lot of people that feel they owe something to a radio show, tv show, site, etc., that offered crackpot advice about health because they feel ...

Want surprise frustration. Realizing that your keyboard doesn't have any means to send a page up, down, end or home. I would apply it to my mouses spare keys, except you must press the key in razers software, and if i use the onscreen keyboard that doesn't work either. In 20 minutes i haven't found ...

I'm seeing a pattern of necromancy from a small group of new users. I also suspect those new users are posting on each other's thread about a particular product however I don't have time to confirm. I'm running off my vague memories for the past few days.

New best restaurant experience. I like to put restraunts that I eat at against each other. Chains, local, big names, gimmicky half strip bars all the same to me, but since I get by one every weekend at the least while trucking I like to try something new and look for the best. Found a new best! 4 Br...

Millstream brewing schild brau amber. I smelled it when he was filling it 10 feet away for some reason. Double checked the potency of the aroma when he brought it over. Smelled delicious, my not so discerning taste was very pleased.

Re: Screen

The problem has to be related to the fact that I'm starting everything on its own user. I did manage to find the tmux process with P's aux grep. I think there's some kind of weirdness going on with it storing the socket in tmp. I'd be willing to bet if I just changed everything to my user it would w...

So I tried slipping tmux and screen into the service file on seperate occasions but the strangest thing happens. It looks like tmux starts, opens the game server, and then completely closes. Re: SpaceX Launch/Recovery, May 1 2017

I'm just curious, are those motors entirely on /off or can the output be reduced. The wiki article on the Merlin 1D cites a current throttle range of 70%-100%, with future development aimed at getting down to 40%. I was thinking about how much precision on the landing burn is required on that final...

Well right now i've got it starting with systemd as a service under it's own user. Screen

Is it reasonable to run game servers in screen so they run in background and I can access the in out. Does it increase risk of instability? Is it just plain bad practice? I rented a vds and started putting dedicated game servers on it for reasons I'm still not sure of yet. I think I just wanted some...
