Re: Car maintenance!!

Damn :o
When it comes to the internal combustion engine some of you guys are funny

Who here thinks that a "power band" is actually a device that improves power in a two stroke engine?

Also, i bet some think that storing a battery on concrete drains it.

Re: Car maintenance!!

:o K&N filters suck? :o Every one uses K&N air filters, they are great. Been using them on my cars for 25 years. But for regular old daily drivers, factory airfilters work just fine. Running 15-50 weight oil in a 3.1L v6 :o Cold knock start up in cold weather, seen it thousands of time. Yeah...

Now, I know a limited amount of basic car care, IE, I know how to change my oil and oil filter, I can change my battery, replace my air filter, fill up my automati...

I kinda think my psu is a bottleneck**shrugs**? It doesn't work that way. If a PSU is not supplying enough power to the system, then it would be unstable. Lots of blue screens, etc. You're simply fine as it is, your CPU is most likely the bottleneck. I have gotten and known others who have gotten h...

I kinda think my psu is a bottleneck**shrugs**? How's that? :-? It is probably at its limit for the gtx. It is about 3 years old so. :-? It is an antec truepower 2.0 550watt. Judging by the 3dmark 05 and 06 scores the gtx is only hitting around 500 to 800 points better than the gts did.

As for which cpu i would not get an fx60. If you have had good luck oc,ing y...

Its a measurable noticable difference, however depending on your games your CPU might be your bottleneck at that point. I want to be able to run current games on high, and new games at medium for at least 6 months. Will it be safe to assume I can do that with a 7600GT? yes you should be fine with t...
