Re: Diablo III

Started my play last night. Had some other things to do so couldn't play long. I'm a dungeon crawler and search every nook and cranny along with attempting to finish all quest. No way I'll complete this in 7-8 hours. I did pick up the CE although I don't normally. To me it was worth the extra $40.

Re: The best anti virus program

I don't know about them having a vested interest. They sold Symtec years back didn't they. If they did why have they waited so long to put out a antivirus program. This seems more like PR damage control like their new software is malware or virus prone. Microsoft never owned Symantec. They've been ...

Re: I don't get these tablet things

I use mine mostly as a media player in the car. Music for me and movies for the kids when they are in the car. Other than that I use it for ebooks, facebook, skype, lots of games, apps galore, browsing the web. All on the go. Its certainly lighter than my laptop and does what I need when I'm not nea...

The base price is $389. Then use the promo code THANKSPOP for $10 off of the order. Basic UPS ground shipping is $3.99 for a grand total of $382.99. https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=EPC-T101A1&title=Asus-Eee-Pad-Transformer-TF101-A1-10-1-inch-NVIDIA-Tegra-2-1GB-16GB-Android-3-0-Honeycom...

Re: Changing all hardware on windows 7 machine except storag

Good luck calling Microsoft and getting an activation code. You are essentially building an entirely new computer. If you are lucky they will give you the code after you are prompted for activation (which will occur whether you reinstall or not). Storage is cheap. Most people just build a whole new...

Re: My First Apple Device

I wonder how many Apple bashers complain about the prices, stigma, and such without ever trying the product. Probably a lot just like most things. I do agree with the previous poster about just dragging and dropping music onto the device. I have a Sandisk mp3 player with rockbox and I can add music...

Re: My First Apple Device

I was also one of those who thought the price of Apple products were way too much. I actually still do. But after my daughter bought the newest touch with her birthday money and I've had a chance to play with it now and then, its actually a pretty sweet device. I do agree about importing new songs. ...

you people are sad little tools and know nothing about gaming if you think the persona series is bad it has a large following for a reason I guess if you were 15years old you wouldnt know that since you most likely were not old enough to own the original playstation anyway, dont own a PSP so can't ...

I looked at buying that game for my PSP when it was released but after watching videos and reading reviews, I just didn't get it. And I love RPGs. But this Persona franchise is new to me.

Correct, mine is upgrade also. But I use it like a full install. No problems here.

Re: Anyone NOT like touchscreen?

With my smart phone and blackberry, IIRC shift key is pressed twice for cap locks. There are many shortcuts that I have learned and still learning that have made my touchscreen experience easier but the technology has a lot of room for improvement.

Re: Anyone NOT like touchscreen?

I wasn't exactly a fan of touch screen until I got my smart phone. After a couple of days of getting used to it I love it for phone use. And I have really big hands so I didn't think it would be something I could get used to. I don't like it for some games but casual games are fine using touch scree...

Well, I own the VHS Trilogy from 1990 which does have the theatrical releases if I remember correctly. I own the first DVD trilogy which doesn't have the theatrical release. So yeah, I'll buy the BluRay version too.

It's not like medkits really make any more sense. Cause you know, after being shot in the chest all you have to do is wrap a bandage around it and you'll be good to go LOL. But medkits also weren't found around every single corner along with a stash of guns, ammo, and a PB&J in older games. Ser...

I haven't had any issues but I can confirm that the auto-save features works great. Carebear players (or welfare players as I like to call them) who want everything handed to them and cry like hell if a game has any sort of challenge or grind drive me NUTS. They will bitch and bitch until developers water down a game so much that there is really even no point in playing it. I agre...

Re: Those things in games you could do without

Overly fancy and convoluted menus drive me up the wall. The menus are not part of the game, don't try to trick me into thinking they are. A good example is DiRT 2.... compare the time spent "playing" the game according to Steam with the time spent driving according to the in-game counter,...

Mwave has a IOGEAR Multimedia Keyboard with Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel on sale today for $38. $32 if you count the mail-in-rebate. Doesn't look to bad for an HTPC wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Got some decent reviews too. Thinking about making the switch. The biggest complaint seems to be...
