I'm in need of a Power Supply with ATX and ATX mini

I have a Dell Precision 690 with a power supply that has both ATX and ATX Mini, the motherboard uses both connections. I would like to use something other than Dell since we replaced this power supply twice. If you zoom in on this you will see what I'm talking about. http://www.impactcomputers.com/m...

Re: Chuck

I just knew Chuck was over, burning down the Buy More and everyone loosing their job. But the twist at the very end told me that the show is going in another direction. But he did promise his sister Elle that he would quit the spy business. I could see a show with just Morgan, Casey, Chuck, and Sara...

I need a DSL modem

I'm moving to a new house and getting AT&T DSL service. They said they would sell me a DSL modem for 150 dollars or I could just go and buy one. I would like to get a nice one with wi-fi but I'm kind of having a hard time muddling through Google for reviews and what not. I've always had the phon...

Do you have anything in event viewer?

Right click my computer select manage and look in event viewer. Is anything there that gives you some hint? While your there look to see if device manager has any problems.

Remove the 24 pin motherboard connector and jumper pin 14 (green) to any black and see if the power supply comes on. Use a paper clip.

If you had more air flow through the case would would your CPU fan have to work less? Case fans are cheap and quiet.

New PC and the memory is in slot 2,3,4

I bought my kids a new HP and I was poking around in the bios because that's what we do, right, anyway I notice the memory is in slots 2, 3, and 4. Why not 1, 2, and 3? According to CPU ID this is the case and it's running in dual mode. It's an HP and I'm surprised, it's a pretty good machine. Other...

Re: Advantage of a PS3 over std blue ray player?

Thanks for all the replies. I've got a 360 and a Wii already, might as well complete the system. My kids are 5 and 7, two boys, and they love both consoles, it seems to me that there are a lot of games that are appropriate for their age for the PS3. I do have a really nice Onkyo 7.1, w/ Polk Audio s...

Re: Advantage of a PS3 over std blue ray player?

Other than the single biggest advantage the system has over any BluRay standalone player (seriously, right there, that should make you buy a PS3 instead of a BluRay player), there's the fact that Sony consistently updates the firmware to take advantage of new technology. Your $250 BluRay play proba...

Advantage of a PS3 over std blue ray player?

To go with my new HDTV I'm thinking about getting a Blue Ray player. The guy at Fry's mentioned I should look into a PS3. So other than games what is the advantage of a PS3 over a blue ray player in the 250 dollar range?

I have a Dell 2950 with fans in medium/high gear

I have a server that really doesn't do much but it's the loudest out of twelve. The fans are always at a medium/high speed. Not as fast as when you first fire the thing up but not quiet either. I was wondering if someone had any idea what the heck is going on. And is there something I could tweak on...

I'm at work now, but I've been through the displays setting full, zoom1, zoom2, and stretch, full is the best quality. Now one thing I thought of is when I'm viewing with cable it looks ok but with the HDMI cable is when it looks zoomed.

I have a new HDTV it looks really nice. I'm not zoomed in and...
