Does anyone have a clue about what is going on with the AIDA Memory bandwidth results? The Ryzen 3 3700X has a very low write bandwidth. enixenigma linked the answer to that in a post on the first page of this thread. Thanks! How did I miss that... I am not sure however how it would be possible to ...

I'll just comment on your windows 10 question. If you have an old windows 7 pro key, you can still use that., Just install Windows without key, boot, activate, enter win7 key done. If you are going to buy a new windows 10 version, I'd go with a pro version. Legal Keys can be bought for around $10-$1...

Anyway, I got bored with FF about four years ago. It's been going downhill ever since 3.5...lame UI, poor performance, dodgy addons, nerfed customization and arrogant decisions. Getting most of their money from Google doesn't exactly inspire trust in their status as an independent alternative to th...

Only quick solution I can think of is just disable on of the two cards, either by disabling the pcie slot in Bios, or just disable the device in windows device manager. Re: Galaxy S8 is not going to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack

The 3.5mm audio jack is the last 'standard' jack out there that is entirely analog, and thus very limited. One might call it the VGA of audio. The audio source quality is at the mercy of the DAC in the source device (e.g the iPhone), while many argue that for headphones in particular, it is better ...

Re: Questions on amp wattage and speakers

Without going into theory and specs, Try too look at it this (simplified) way. The bigger the speaker cones, the more air they displace, but the harder to move that air. 8ohm is a higher resistance than 6 ohm, so harder to drive. The wattage you see is the max wattage, so as long as you don t turn u...

I don't know, the problem is that the pc only looks for PCIe devices during POST, after that when a device is found on a bus you could
changes something there, but when the connection is gone, the device is gone. might be solvable by using some kind of device stub ?

It probably is a cabled PCIe connector, though those have the disadvantage that you need to reboot before the pc sees it, so it might be something else. I've done some nice projects connectign FPGA's to a pc using cabled PCIe (one project 8 lanes Gen one with copper, one project with optical cables,...
