Re: iPad Dying - 1600 Error, no warranty left

Everyone and their mother has been having iPad, iPhone, and MacBook issues around my neck of the woods recently. Apple sure doesn't make stuff like they used to it seems. My 1990 era Mac IIsi with OS 7.6 on it still runs fine. lol.

Sweet car dude. Now we just need some videos! :) Oh, and another vote here for autos...stickshifts are a PITA and shifting takes longer. ;) Just got an auto 2011 TSX with paddle shifters and love it.

Yeah I've never had any of the problems you mention with Win7, and yet, amazingly, I have had some of them while trying to use Ubuntu several times. Linux is not ready yet, as much as everyone including myself, likes it, and the idea of it. :) Have fun trying to install stuff. ;)

Re: So hard to find good help...

I am convinced the number one reason for a dearth of qualified applicants is offering subpar wages. No, its not that. We're offering WELL above competitive wages and still can't get good applicants. Even if it were, if you're unemployed, you wouldn't work for $50k when you should be getting $65K an...

My advice? Life has taught me: * Dinner and flowers are fine, anything expensive is a waste of money. Most things that are expensive that women like are a waste of money (jewelry, fancy clothes, etc) and will have you wishing you spent it somewhere else). You use the money for a computer, it will la...

1.) Ferrari Maranello 575M - best looking car ever made. Period.

2.) 1968 Dodge Charger, black primer, with a hemi and a blower hanging out of the hood

3.) Current Day Dodge Challenger (2009 or 2010, the newer ones suck)

Re: Car with best 0-60 for under $25k, new or used

It's not a TOTAL loss, as the V6 Accord Coupe is pretty nice... it sits somewhere between Acura CL and Prelude. I've got a deposit down on one (6-speed manual of course :D), and I can't wait to drive her home next month! The TSX manual (which I cross-shopped) is a nice ride too. There are rumors of...

Re: Car with best 0-60 for under $25k, new or used

Firstly I don't see a reason why I should spend 30K on a car. You can get a decent car for 5-10k. And if you decide to put the rest of the money in upgrades you'll have something cooler than a Ferrari. New cars - a total waste of money. And if you really beat the car, then replaced tranny or two is...

What's the big deal with reliability anyway? If you beat the car, so what, you break a gearbox, blow a gasket, etc. Put some 1000$ into it and replace the broken part, done. Different people place different values on the time, money, and inconvenience associated with major drivetrain repairs. Parti...

The 2012 civic is out, that looks pretty cool, better than previous years. I had one from 2002 to 2008, and loved it, although I would have preferred it be a tad bigger. I think they're around 20k base, and that means if you're a dick you could get it for 17k or less. I would rather have an "a...

What years were the vehicles you are referring to, other than the 2005 wagon? Frag got caught in the head gasket mess that came from the first batch of US-built motors and it's roughly '03 to '07 cars that had head gasket issues. My '02 and '07 WRXs had motors built in Japan, so I never saw the iss...
