Raid 5 help

So my raid 5 array was degraded which happens from time to time. It usually gets fixed if i jiggle the cable for a little bit. It's been a while since it's happened but from what I remember I just delete the array, make a new one with the same name and settings and usually everything is fine. But th...

Re: htc 8x

I don't find their current track record in the phone arena very appealing. I'd be worried that it'd go the same route as the zune or win7. Maybe an unfair comparison and things have certainly changed but I'm not sure the world is ready for a 3rd giant in the mobile market. That said, if anyone can ...

Re: Lumia 920

1. MTP mode. I've read that the 920 shows up as removable storage when plugged into a PC. Can you transfer any type of file or are you limited to pictures/movies/music? I think so. Just tested with transferring a .rar file in there and it took it no complaints. 2. Bluetooth file transfer. Is this i...

Oh no you didn't. You are so lucky I put my bike away for the winter yesterday! I'm not officially putting my bike into storage until there's salt on the roads :) For some side notes: I find the contact list confusing, or the lack thereof. It's integrated into the calling and messaging apps, and wh...

I got mine on Friday. How do I get the menu along the top to stay permanently displayed? I don't think there is any way to make it permanently shown. Though you can tap the top though to temporarily show it. Do wi-fi networks get preferential treatment for downloading (assuming I'm connected)? Yes. ...

FWIW, I've never had auto-correct problems on my WP7 phone, nor my WinMo6 & WinMo5 phone. Granted my WinMo phones had physical keyboards.

Re: Gun prOn!

My 1006 does. But like Captain Ned said, mine is going to be 99.99999% for punching holes in paper; the other 0.00001% is if I go innawoods deep in bear country and need a back up for the carbine I would bring.
I'm more bothered by the slide mounted decocker than the magazine safety.

The followers in the magazine you mean? From what I've read around, the one on the left is an early model magazine and the one on the left is a newer model one. They extended the follower to improve feeding.

Well I'm about to 'pull the trigger' so to speak, and buy my first AR-15... Well i'm going to part it together for fun anyways. Are you going to go full on build it or get a prebuilt upper and lower? If you're going to part it all the way, you may need some additional tools like an action block, ba...

Re: Gun prOn!

So, I took my AR out to the range this weekend and experienced multiple failure to feeds. Maybe 8 or so rounds were semi-auto out of 60. It would not feed the next round reliably and it would not lock back on the last shot, narrowed it down to short stroking. Was running Federal .223 55gr FMJ (black...

I found out about NoDak Spud after I bought my lower; and when I was shopping around for an upper, they were out of stock. I saw DEZ Arms offers A1 rifle/carbine uppers, but found that out right after I bought the barrel. Since I built it over a long time, you can kinda see where I switched directio...
