Re: NFL 2019

As much as the 49ers beat the living crap out of my hometown team (Bears) during the 80’s when I was a kid, I can’t help but like their style this season. A power-run offense and destroying the other team in the trenches is my kind of football. Kansas City is a bit “whiz-bang” for my tastes, but it’...

Re: 2600k > 9700K Am I doing this right?

You would be building a system nearly identical to mine, so I can't say any of those choices are poor. I don't particularly care for the flimsy X-shaped mounting bracket on the 212 EVO (the less expensive 212 LED uses screws instead), but that's about it. Without knowing more about the older system,...

Re: Lowest TDP video card?

The least expensive and lowest TDP card still available for sale new and also still supported by current drivers is the GT 710. Between friends/family and my NAS, I probably have something like 5 of them currently in use. I want to say they’re rated on the order of 17w, with minor variance depending...

TBH your best bet might be something USB based. Maybe this: https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Labs-70SB173000000-Sound-Blaster/dp/B06XBZ38ZJ/ or even this: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-External-Headphone-Microphone-Desktops/dp/B01N905VOY/ Cheap enough that it doesn't hurt to try. Valve is on their way to becoming the next Capcom. Children Of Bodom - Skeletons In The Closet (2009) An album of covers. I also have a mild-to-moderate problem with that same pink bacteria. Looks like they bumped the 2700X to $160 -- must have been selling really well. I ended up grabbing one of the last regular 2700's at my store (now sold out). It's the same chip as the X, just slightly lower clocks and much lower power consumption. I'll be testing some Crucial ECC on this board toni...

Given the memory-compatibility improvements between Zen and Zen+, I'd go with the Zen+ chip. The 2700x also comes with the superior Wrath cooler for what its worth. Interesting. Android Auto and Carplay support are determined by the stereo/head unit. Some have support for only one or the other, some support both.

Interesting you bring this up. We have a need for non-rechargeable 14500 batteries at work, as some devices in the field use them for monitoring sensors.
