Don't be fooled by the 240W rating, we've qualified AthlonFX-53 and 6800Ultra (single slot like the ASUS card) in the SN95G5. The X800 is no problem, it runs quite a bit cooler than the 6800.

Audio CD's are two channel only. DVD's, some games, and DVD audio are encoded in a multi-channel format.

To get multichannel playback of a CD or MP3, you can add an effect through the driver applet. Or you can pick up a SN41G2, which encodes ALL sound into Dolby Digital 5.1 =)

The XPC SN41G2 is due in December. The nForce2 IGP is now in production, and the SPP has been in production for some time.

The SN41G2 will have an AGP8X upgrade port certified for use with cards like NV30.
