The "rm" should delete them permanently. In fact a restart should also delete them as this is on a ramdisk. Are you sure you are not restarting from a checkpoint of the VM before you deleted the files? My checkpoint is 15 minutes, and I ran VM over some 8 hours (all night). And this alway...

The problema is not with FahMon, the file FAHlog.txt is not updated for ~1 hour. The curious is that the file logfile_XX.txt (in the work path) is always updated.
