Re: Just ordered a new notebook from Newegg, and i feel shafted.

Great news, just got an email from their Customer Service, and I'm being refunded $50 within 3-5 business days. Nevertheless, it has always been our priority to offer the greatest value for your dollar. Anytime we receive any specials or promotions such as rebates, free shipping or quantity discount...

Re: Just ordered a new notebook from Newegg, and i feel shafted.

I ordered it at 7:32 in the morning, having been checking the page throughout the day, I noticed at around 10/11pm the price had dropped, so canceling my order prolly wouldn't have worked.

Re: Just ordered a new notebook from Newegg, and i feel shafted.

The Approx. ~65 i'd be saving is nothing I'm about to cry over, but it would've been nice to know as price change was in order. While doing my homework about this notebook, I read that it was at $999 in the past, and honestly didn't think that would happen again. Thank you for your replies, and i ho...

Just ordered a new notebook from Newegg, Problem solved :D

To keep it short and sweet, i just purchased a new Asus N80Vn-X5 from the 'egg and paid $1049.00 this morning, and now its down to $999.
Is there anything i can do to get that lower price?

Re: background backup util for XP

Generally you can't move drives in certain raid-configurations (of which raid0 is one) from one computer to another. Heck, you often can't move them within the same computer if the controller dies. So that's why that didn't work. So how does someone replace the controller without losing/rebuilding ...

Re: background backup util for XP

1, RAID is stupid on a regular computer, much less a laptop 2, not backing up is even more stupid. That said, what's done is done. Maybe check out some of the recommendations here: http://www.techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61879 Well I've already eaten my own words on the raid issue,...

Can i get a some-what thorough explanation as to why this problem exists and why ATI & Nvidia have done nothing about it?

Mobile 7800GTX issues

So I've run into a problematic wall i cant seem to get around, and this one just stumps me.. So with my Sager 9750 hitting its 2 year mark and still goin strong, this lack of OpenGL in vista is nothing short of BS. I've used laptopvideo2go drivers and just tried the Xtreme-G Mobile drivers and to no...

Re: Laptop HDD

My Sager 9750 has 2 100gb drives, main is 7200, and other is 5400. I've recently taken to installing games on my second drive and havent really noticed much of a speed difference. I'd go for the 7200 as a main for the sake of speed, but whatever floats your boat.

Okay, this might come as an odd request, but i was recently given said card with break-out box and remote...but no cd, as it was nowhere to be found..
