Re: The Mandalorian

Still haven't watched anything after The Phantom Menace. Jar Jar Binks happened and I was just done. You can't be serious. Don't you watch a lame movie on occasion to kill some time? Treat the subsequent ones like big budget lame movies and I think you will be surprised. Rogue One especially is nic...

Episode 2 was much better. I am confused about what planet they are on, though. Jawas and Sandcrawlers have been a Tattooine only fixture in the past.

Re: The Mandalorian

Doesn't anyone have an issue with Fett's voice? Should be deeper, more menacing. That's not Fett! Anyways Jango and Boba wern't true Mandalorians. The former was the model of all clone troopers the later was an unaltered clone. Reading is fundamental. This guy is a Mandalorian from Mand'alor. We ha...

Re: The Mandalorian

I give the first episode 2 1/2 mehs. Bad CGI and a stupid blue alien ruined the first half of the episode. Let's hope it gets better.

As for Disney +, works flawlessly on my LG OLED.

Oh an I forgot......Obi-Wan! Yes that one. It was announced at D23 that McGregor will be reprising this role and having his own show. While no exact details have been released as a fan I always felt that Kenobi's > (whiney) Skywalker's. Yes, Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan was a bright spot in the prequels...

They'll never completely recoup the cost of acquisition. I'm not to sure about that. Personally I am giddy about the Mandalorian. And the fact that they are resurrecting Clone Wars to give it a proper ending excites the hell out of me. If they ever make a live action Ahsoka show or hell even an ani...

I perhaps have gotten old, but the old 80's comedies always had to have some sort of booby shot or something that as a parent makes you pretty darned uncomfortable watching with a 13yo. You realize that the scenes could have easily been left out or pasteurized without deterring from the movie whats...
