Hi all, here is my old rig: CPU: Q9450 MB: Asus P5KPL-G31 ram: 2x2Gb VGA: ATI 4870 512mb PSU: Tagan 500 (12V1: 18A; 12V2: 18A) monitor res: 2048x1152 I usually gaming, sometime work with CAD, 3D modeling and rendering on sketchup and 3ds Max just recently upgrade from 4870 to Gigabyte 6950 1Gb for b...

Q9450 2.66 to 3.2(max) with a poor P5KPl-AM without pump up any Vcore...(because there is no that option in this MB :o ), by the way it's rock and run stably 24/7!! just worry about its temperature while heavy 3d-rendering around 68C - 72C :oops: max! also planning to replace with TT IFX-14, any ide...

Yup, my old 6600GT also run EVERYTHING at MAX but a X FPS :D

skip both 4770 or 4850 and go for 4870 or 4890 1GB, i believe that you don't play game just only today.

Don't use the Thermaltake VF100. Period, full stop. Put the stock cooler back on. None of the aftermarket coolers I've seen do a good job of cooling the VRMs and voltage converters. It's that simple. I'm actually going to remove my Accelero S1 because of this reason. You see, it's not about the GPU...

i use Thermal take VF1000. The air-flow in my case is not really good, because i've got an old design case. After turn off PC, the VGA board is pretty high... I think i will try to wash the cooler, it look dusty.

i got mb P5K, Q9450 @3.2ghz, ddr2 2x2gb @800, seagate 320gb I analyse my system by playing farcry 2 around 15mn, GPU temp go from 50 - 62 max, GPU VRM temp for 70 - 94 max But when i play Wanted, i only noticed that the VDDC slave #1 & #2 go up 140C. do you have any idea? ( i use GPU-Z and Evere...

yes both PCie are plugged in. my PSU is CM real power pro 550w. it's really odd because that issue occur only in some game.

... which means that your card is probably overheating. a) Monitor your temperatures while playing. Use RivaTuner's logging function for that and see how far it goes before it crashes b) Which LEDs light up? They are numbered. I have mornitor temperature while playing, idle was 49 and while playing...

i also have the LED issue on my Radeon 4870.This case is so different. The LED occassionally on in a certain game, particularly " Wanted - weapons of fate" i can run this no longer than 10mn while i can play another game in whole day like farcry 2, Assassin's creed, Crysis... i still don't...

My Q9450 is coming today to replace my old E6300, i got a P35 motherboard and i plan to Clock it up. I heard from some of my friends that if OC and us Higher than stock's clock for long period often cause the death of CPU, i was somehow worry about it.

Daemon tool in Windows 7

I try to install daemon tool in Windows7, Nor normally in the previouse OS after reboot, it will continues the install until complete.
but in windows 7 after a reboot, it still require to restart again and again..... Anybody can solve this problem?

uh...mines too. i used Everest Ultimate 4.60.1500 to run system stabilities test, i noticed that the +12V is between 8.76 - 8.87V firstly, i thought that's my PSU is in trouble, but when checked in the BIOS is just 11.89V. Whatever , my system is run stably i will try another soft to check it again...

My Sapphire 4870 GPU VRM used to reach 110ºC and 88ºC GPU core with Default stock fan.
Now i change to thermal take VF1000, Every is alot better with 75-80ºC GPU VRM and 45 -53ºC GPU core
